How does the AI generate the card?

You upload a photo, pick three vibe descriptors (energy, activity, descriptor), and the app sends those to Anthropic\u2019s Claude API. Claude analyzes the photo and writes one of 40 archetypes, plus motto, fatal flaw, three vibe tags, five stats, an element type, and a base rarity. The rarity is then refined by a server-side dice roll so most cards land at Uncommon and Mythic stays rare. Read more in our Privacy Policy.

Why does my pet\u2019s card change between generations?

The AI is non-deterministic. Each generation is a fresh creative pass — different motto, different stat distribution, sometimes a different archetype. That\u2019s by design: the cards are entertainment, not a personality assessment. If you want to keep one, share or save it before generating another.

How do I report an inappropriate card?

On any card you didn\u2019t generate (someone else\u2019s share link, a battle opponent), tap the Report button in the card menu. Pick a category (inappropriate / hateful / spam / other), add an optional note, and submit. We review reports within 24 hours during business days and remove violating content.

Can I make my card private?

All cards are private by default — they live only in your Dex. They become accessible to others only when you tap "Share" (which exposes them at a public permalink) or when they\u2019re paired as an opponent in battle (anonymized — no account info shared). To revoke a public share, delete the card from your Dex; the share URL will return a 404.

How do I cancel my Pro subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your device\u2019s app store. On iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Vibe Card Pro. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid being charged.

How do I delete my account?

Open the app and go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. Confirm the prompt. This permanently deletes your account, pets, cards, push token, and history from our servers. Your card images on Cloudflare R2 are also deleted on a best-effort basis. Account deletion cannot be undone.

What\u2019s the difference between free and Pro?
  • Free: 20 card generations per day. Full access to share, battle, and the Dex.
  • Vibe Card Pro: Unlimited card generations.
I\u2019m a researcher / journalist — can I get aggregate stats?
